At InsideTrak we respect the privacy of your personal information in our care.  The insidetrak.com.au website is owned and operated by InsideTrak Pty Ltd under the domain name insidetrak.com.au.

This Privacy Statement applies to the insidetrak.com.au website.  It explains how your personal information will be treated as you access and interact with the insidetrak.com.au website.

In this Privacy Statement ‘InsideTrak’, ‘our’, ‘us’ or ‘we’ means InsideTrak Pty Ltd (ABN 155 250 534).   

2. Personal Information collected

The information that InsideTrak collects about you depends on how you use the facilities offered by the InsideTrak website.

You can visit and browse our website without disclosing any personal information. Our system may record information such as the date and time of your visit, your computer’s IP address, the pages accessed and any information downloaded. This information is used for statistical, reporting and website administration and maintenance purposes.

If you register and logon to our website or apply through our website for advertised employment opportunities, we do collect some personal information about you, which you volunteer by filling in details and sending your resume. The information you provide may include basic personal details such as your name, address, home and mobile numbers and email address etc. The information provided at this point is stored in our database for retrieval and use by InsideTrak for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement. By submitting your personal information in this way, you acknowledge and accept our Privacy Statement.

Our website may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyse use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including the IP address of your computer) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating individuals’ use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.  Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate IP addresses with any other data held by Google. By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

We may combine the personal information we collect from you with information that we receive from and about you in other contexts and from other sources, including third parties.

3. Use and disclosure of information

We use and disclose personal information in various limited circumstances including where you consent, we have told you, you would expect us to or we are otherwise authorised by law.

The purposes for which we use and disclose personal information include:

• registration and administration in relation to your InsideTrak account;
• carrying out or responding to your requests;
• processing payments;
• improving our services;
• communicating with you regarding service issues and updates;
• displaying tailored advertising when you use InsideTrak (although note that this is not done by disclosing your personal information to advertisers);
• contacting you with promotional information about us, our services and our promotional partners (however we are subject to some legal restrictions and opt-out requirements in relation to these activities);
• responding to information requests from courts, government agencies and lawyers where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law;
• investigating and dealing with suspected fraud and unlawful activity;
• protecting our lawful interests;
• purposes relating to any third party acquisition or potential acquisition of an interest in us or our assets; and 
• other purposes outlined at the time you provide the information.

We may not be able to do these things without your personal information. For example, we may not be able to manage your account or contact you.

We may also provide your personal information to our related bodies corporate and our service providers who assist us with customer contact, archival, auditing, accounting, legal, business consulting, banking, delivery, data processing, website or technology services. 

Some of the third parties described above including our service providers and other users may be located in the United States or other countries. You acknowledge that where your personal information is provided to third parties outside Australia, we are not required to ensure that those parties comply with Australian privacy standards.

4. Sharing of information

InsideTrak is designed specifically to provide a platform for a community of users to share their information and experiences. How much information you share is up to you. You are not required to give details of your social media profiles, or include any personal information about yourself. Details of your ongoing interaction with InsideTrak, such as when you comment on or share information is shared with other users will be done on an anonymous basis. 

InsideTrak makes parts of its technology available to third parties so that they can make applications, widgets, links and other tools that interact with InsideTrak and enrich the InsideTrak experience. These may be used within InsideTrak or elsewhere online. When you view, click on or otherwise interact with any of these tools, we may receive information about those interactions. The third parties may also have access to all of the information available to other users of InsideTrak. These third parties may have their own privacy policies and approach to handling personal information which may differ from ours.

5. Website technology

The insidetrak.com.au website may use 'cookies'.  Cookies are an industry standard and most major websites use them.  A cookie is a small text file that our website may place on your computer. Usually, cookies are used as a means for the insidetrak.com.au website to remember your preferences. As such, cookies are designed to improve your experience of the InsideTrak website.

InsideTrak takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that the personal information it collects, uses and discloses is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. That is why InsideTrak recommends that you: 

• let us know if there are any errors in your personal information we hold; and 
• keep us up-to-date with changes to personal information you have previously provided. 

7. Accessing your personal information

Please contact us if you would like to request access to the personal information we hold about you. You will need to put your request in writing for, security reasons, and send it to the Privacy Officer as detailed in part 11 below.

Please provide us with as much detail as you can about the particular information you seek, in order to help us retrieve it. 

8. Security

If you are considering sending us any personal information through the Website or other electronic means, please be aware that the information may be insecure in transit, particularly where no encryption is used (e.g. email, standard HTTP). We are subject to a number of laws requiring us to protect the security of personal information once it comes into our possession.

If you are a registered member, access to your account is controlled by a username and password chosen by you. To prevent unauthorised access, you should choose a strong password and keep it protected from others.

9. Children

The insidetrak.com.au website is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.

You acknowledge and accept that your use of the insidetrak.com.au website indicates your acceptance of the insidetrak.com.au website Terms of Use and this Privacy Statement. 

This is the current Privacy Statement.  It replaces any other Privacy Statement for the insidetrak.com.au website published on the insidetrak.com.au website previously.

InsideTrak may at any time vary the Privacy Statement by publishing the varied Privacy Statement on the insidetrak.com.au website.  The new Privacy Statement will apply to information that we collect after the date that we post the change on the insidetrak.com.au website.

If you do not agree with the change, then you must alter or cease your use the insidetrak.com.au website accordingly.
